SUNSET INN POLICIES
MINIMUM STAY
May through September (peak season):
4 night minimum stay required on advance reservations,
unless only a shorter stay is open.
Holidays: 4 night minimum stay required.
DEPOSIT
A credit card guarantee is required on all bookings, with payment upon arrival. In addition we require a deposit to cover the first night for holidays and reservations booked more than 6 months ahead. The balance is paid upon arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations subject to a $25 fee. Please give us at least 30 days notice (60 days for stay of 4 or more nights, or multiple cabins) to avoid a charge of 50% if the dates we held for you do not re-book. Full charge on any reservation change or cancellation less than 7 days before arrival.

A NON-SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT
|
Our newly remodeled family cabin, Meadow Lark is beautifully hand crafted. Done in a studio layout, this 450 square foot, two room cabin offers new ultra plush beds. There is a queen bed in the main room along with the kitchen and dining area, and a double and single bed in the other room. The well equipped kitchen includes a four burner range with oven, microwave, full size refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc; the dining area includes a dining table and 5 chairs; there is a private bathroom with a shower; propane heating including a gas parlor stove with glass door to view the fire, or fan cooling in the summer months; and will accommodate up to 5 guests.

The beautiful Meadow Lark Cabin, overlooks our lovely meadow and frog pond, with a roomy sun porch, ideal for taking in those gorgeous sunsets for which we are so aptly named. A charcoal BBQ is provided for your use just off the deck.

LARKSPUR CABIN & SUGAR PINE CABIN
These two lovely cabins will accommodate two (or 3 utilizing a fold-out bed) guests each. Larkspur Cabin and Sugar Pine Cabin offer similar amenities. Both are attractively done in a studio layout, and are handsomely designed in the "Craftsman" style of custom woodworking. The well equipped kitchen includes a four burner stove top, toaster oven, coffee maker and refrigerator as well as pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Larkspur Cabin now has a microwave oven as well. Both cabins have been recently remodeled. The bed in each cabin is adorned with a beautiful quilt. For winter warmth enjoy the cozy wood burning stove (firewood is provided), as well as propane heat, or enjoy the breeze of fan cooling in the summer months. Both cabins have a roomy sun porch, as well as charcoal BBQ, and are set on the edge of the surrounding lush forest. A roll-away bed is available for an extra guest in Sugar Pine Cabin, or a twin futon in Larkspur.

Larkspur Cabin our most deluxe cabin is the larger of the two, about 330 square feet, with custom wood interior. This cabin has a plush new, California king size bed, as well as a comfy futon chair, bathroom skylight, and new natural stone patio for the BBQ, in addition to the large deck.

Sugar Pine Cabin, our most secluded, is about 300 square feet and has a beautiful, rustic 'woodsy' interior. Step up into the charming kitchen. There is a new, plush, queen size bed; as well as a big, beautiful 'granite look', full size shower with 2 bathroom skylights. The lush forest is right out your door!

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES
Rustic exteriors on all three cabins give way to beautifully remodeled, clean, well appointed interiors. Additional amenities in all three cabins include a four burner stove top, toaster oven or range oven and toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and refrigerator. Meadow Lark and Larkspur Cabins also have a microwave oven. All the kitchens are complete with pots and pans, dishes, utensils, even dish soap, as well as coffee & tea for you to prepare as you like. Also provided in each cabin is a table or counter with chairs or stools and either an easy chair or rocking chair.
For entertainment, in addition to the great outdoors, we offer a game cupboard in each cabin with playing cards, board games, and puzzles, as well as magazines, local literature, books and park information. Each cabin also has a clock radio or CD player, or MP3 player.
Each cabin has a charcoal barbecue grill. There is a community picnic table in our idyllic meadow available for your use.
For those young at heart, Sunset Inn offers a swing, sand box, frog pond, and balls to kick around on the lawn, as well as farmyard chickens. When they are 'in the mood' our chickens supply us with delicious fresh eggs, and we are happy to share!
WI FI internet is available to connect to your laptop. Due to the inherent nature of our mountainous region, connectivity is not guaranteed.
A telephone is available on the premises. Cell phone reception is good in Yosemite Valley and some other areas in the park, however we do not usually have cell reception at Sunset Inn, nor is it generally available in most other nearby regions outside the park.
